"Dogi and I walked out of the forest and back onto the plains. I missed the teleportation skills I've gained across my travels, but it's a good thing I couldn't in Altago. As we reached the outskirts of town, we saw Tia being accosted by local monsters. Fortunately, they were insignificant and easily dispatched. Tia often came out here for flowers, but her monster repellant, an item common in Altago, was no longer working. She also lost her hairpin in the fracas, but we managed to find it on the ground. Tia wanted to go home, and Dogi offered us as an escort. We were on our way there anyway, so it just made sense.
The trip was as largely uneventful as a casual walk through a horde of monsters with a helpless girl can be. But we made it back to Altago, and Tia went home. We, though, went to see if we could find Dreisen. The King was speaking to the Prime Minister Orban. The PM was wanting to "help" the merchants and was willing to sacrifice Old Town to do so. This felt above our pay grade, and the King didn't want to abide it, so we left. The general was in his office in the east wing. Scias told us he had just returned from training, and we found him somewhat amicable. Dogi asked about the Fire Shrine, but Driesen told us he couldn't help us. He abdicated his role of elder when he took office here, so we'd have to speak to the current leader of Segram. Before leaving, he warned us his home was far, far to the southwest and protected by the desert. After finishing our shopping, we began to leave town.
But we were followed. Maya's new friend demanded to come with us. Dogi told us where and what we were doing, but the girl was unfazed. She promised her bow would aid us, and she'd be correct. And this is when we met Aisha. We decided to make sure Tia was alright, and it was, potentially, a good thing. Maya recognized her new friend and started pulling Aisha's hair. Oh, Maya. I say that in jest and in confusion. As thanks for saving her, Tia gave us a Light Stone. Between Alrago and Segram is a dark cave, and this rock will illuminate it.
We tried to take a detour to the northwest, but a rockslide blocked the town of Kylos from Altago. The new areas of the plains were inhabited by wasps and ladybugs, which Aisha made quick work of. The wolves were a bit harder because they got the jump on us, but they lacked the endurance. The cave between the two lands was defended by a foul smelling plant, more rock beetles, and another type of oozing snail. But they had a leader.
The rock monster, Ghilda Ros, was an orc. His mighty hammer stun locked anyone it struck, and he wasn't a fun battle. His butt bounce caused a shockwave in the arena, and his berserker spinning caused us to panic. I don't know if he was a titano, but we treated him like one.
And thus we entered the desert of Segram. The most common mobs were the evil cactuses and sandfish. Another wolf roamed the area, and a vulture waited for us to drop. Dreisen was correct. Segram was as inhospitable as he warned. Even without the monster incursion, the distance between the two towns was tremendous. How does Tia get out here? But we made it.
We found the elder's house beside the pyramid temple that served as a secondary shrine. We learned from the townsfolk that something had happened at the actual shrine. But inside was not an old person. It was a small, youthful girl. Her name is Cruxie (pronounced Cruu-shee-eh), and we showed her the general's letter. It turns out she's Driesen's daughter. Before we could get any further information from her, she started having a coughing fit. Aisha went into protective mode and instantly knew she had something called Iskan Fever. Someone important to her also has this illness, and I remembered the King suffered something similar. Aisha got us to make medicine for her, which worked very well! Dogi put Cruxie to bed, and she woke up pretty quickly, feeling well enough. And then we heard a voice from downstairs. A large, intimidating man came up the stairs and was upset to see us around this girl's bed. The hammer he pulled out and swung at us was only slightly worse than the Bypass Cave orc. But Cruxie eventually calmed him down.
This is Mustafa, Cruxie's older brother and current elder of Segram. With that in mind, we asked about the Fire Dragon, but he, too, warned us about how dangerous the shrine had become. Showing him the letter from the general actually made him madder. He doesn't get along with his dad... Fortunately, Cruxie was on our side. She somehow convinced her brother to let us follow him to the shrine. The lava flows aren't gonna stop us!

We saw a scene with Geis and the red fairy at the Moon Shrine, as well, tonight. He's also looking to get the power of the dragons but has a feeling "he" is here. As for gameplay, Aisha is pretty fun, as she's just a proto-Karna. VII came out before Celceta, so someone had to be.
