Cheat Codes aren’t cheating enough.

Feena has access to new spells. They've been labeled as a long strand of question marks for the whole game, but we can finally see them. Why does one need two level 99 magics?

But we have to cross another mountain range. I don't remember the name of it, and I don't care. It's too long and pointless. We're fighting stronger versions of mobs we've already killed. You get the gist. It's long and winding with several secret passages to items and backtracking. There was no reason for this to exist.

Beyond that is J-Base, the HQ of the Garlyle Forces on this side of the world. As we approach, Liete says that it looks like this was an Angelou ruin that was turned into a military base. When we enter, we're immediately blown off by soldiers. We overhear one saying that they've taken control of several areas of the base. They're in the middle of a good old fashioned mutiny! General Mullen has taken command of the grunts and is trying to arrest Baal. Everyone was given orders to focus on Baal, so we're welcomed enough. We can explore around, but there's nothing here.

In time, we'll come to a bird statue. To the right of that is the room we saw Mullen attack his dad. Now, though, in a lone dying soldier. He tells us Baal, and they went through a secret passage and how to activate them t. Doing so takes us to Mullen and Leen. The General isn't doing so well, but Leen is tending to him. He's slightly upset we're here, but he passes out. Leen asks us to take care of Baal before he uses the combined Spirit Atone to revive Gaia. We go down the pipe to the right and enter the Railway Ruins.

This is a straight path, but there is a fork at the end of room one. I took the west route and never bothered with the other way. There's a lot of mobs down here, and I just couldn't be asked. There are snakes, Orcs, and something fragile. Everything is weak to everything, but watch out for the massive wind move. At the end is an elevator up that takes us to Baal and that insect larvae.

Baal is evil, and the party surmises he's at one with Gaia. He may even be the full force the BBG is feeding on. He takes off his cloak, and a boss battle starts. We're against Baal and Ahis Gaia Arm. They're two separate targets with their own HP bar, but both die if you kill either one. Use AoE, I guess, to delay both enemies' turns. I went after the arm, which only has 7000 HP. Justin is doing over 1000 damage, and even Rapp is hitting well now. He dies, but the team keeps hearing his disembodied voice. Lightning strikes the Spirit Atone, and the room begins to flash. We're all nearly hit until Leen shows up to protect us. An anime scene happens where Gaia breaks out of his larvae and begins to destroy the world. J-Base is ruined, and the party floats up the Lyonlon, a blue version of the Grandeur.

We're alone until a soldier comes in to address Commander Feena. Mullen has granted her the same rank as her sister for reasons we'll find out…

…tomorrow!

The ship lands, and we have to look for an Icarian somewhere around for some reason. Can you tell I've checked out? Mullen seems to think Gaia will attack Zil Pason to gather energy, but he also thinks his ancient cannon can stop it. I have reasons to doubt it, though.

I tried to turn on cheats, but they don't work as intended. I was hoping to get the stats along with them, but they didn't. Why don't I just activate max stats? Dunno. Four more dungeons…
